Evaluation of Health System Responsiveness Scale

Objective To evaluate the reliability and validity of health system responsiveness scale. Methods A questionnaire survey was done among 499 patients in a hospital of Yunnan Province between March and April in 2013. The feasibility,reliability,and validity of the self- designed scale were analyzed though reliability analysis,factor analysis,and correlation analysis. Results The response rate was 97. 84%( 499 /510),and the completion time of the scale was no more than 10 minutes. The Cronbach coefficient of the scale was 0. 912,and the split- half reliability coefficient was 0. 835. Eight factors were extracted through factor analysis,of which the cumulative contribution rate was 77. 92%. Conclusion Health system responsiveness scale has good reliability and validity,and it is suitable for the evaluation of health system responsiveness.
