Separation and Characterization of Bisphenol-A Epoxy Resin Paint

A separation method for bisphenol A epoxy resin paint was reported, and epoxy resin was characterized by IR and NMR spectroscopy. In contrast to traditional chemical titration method of measuring epoxy value( E ), the number average relative molecular mass ( n) of bisphenol A epoxy resin was calculated in terms of integral intensity in NMR. The relation of E and n was also given.
