Objective To investigate the application of individual digital reduction plate in the treatment of unilateral zygomatic-orbital complex(ZOC) fracture.Methods Four patients with unilateral zygomatic orbital complex fracture received continuous volumetric scanning of their skulls by spiral CT scanner.The data was reconstructed by 3D imaging reconstruction workstation.The operation was simulated and the individual reductive plate was designed on the virtual 3D skull model according to the surgical procedure.With the rapid prototyping technology,the individual reduction plate was produced to guide the reduction of the fracture.Results The function and cosmetics effects of the midface were satisfactory.The width of the midface and the height of the zygoma prominence were symmetric.Conclusion Individual digital reduction plate is helpful in accurate reduction of ZOC fracture and can also save the operation time.
