Research on heat radiation characteristics of ionic crystals

Based on the research on the microscopic mechanism of heat radiation of ionic crystals, a model of harmonic oscillators was established to calculate the heat radiation characteristics of ionic crystals. Then model can be used to calculate the infrared spectra of ionic crystals as well. Comparison of the numerical results with experimental results indicates that the results calculated by the model are in good agreements with the infrared spectra measured.
