In a hydraulic system, pressure fluctuations caused by various factors are likely to influence the no-failure operation of the system and even to damage the equipment. In this paper, The status quo of accumulators applied in hydraulic systems and practical problems of the bladdery accumulator used in hydraulic systems are discussed briefly. The bladdery accumulator is compared with other types of accumulators. It is concluded that the bladdery accumulator is an apparatus with preponderant prospects for application in hydraulic systems.
