Studies of chemical constituents from Reineckia carnea

To study the chemical constituents from the fresh rhizomes of Reineckia carnea Kunth,six compounds were obtained by normal-phase and reverse-phase silica gel columns.Based on physico-chemical properties and spectral analysis,their structures were identified as adenine nucleotide(1),adenine nucleoside(2),tryptophan(3),ponasterone-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(4),22(S)-cholest-5-ene-1β,3β,16β,22-tetraol-1-O-β-D-xylopyranoside 16-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(5),quercetin(6).Compounds 1~compounds 5 were isolated fromReineckia carneafor the first time.
