The Influence of Urban-Rural Planning Law in Land Use Planning

The purpose of this study is to discuss the influence of Urban-Rural Planning Law in land use planning for providing suggestions to the new general planning of land use. Based on the comparative analyse between Urban-Rural Planning Law and Urban Planning Law, this paper briefly analyzed the influence of Urban-Rural Planning Law in the current land use planning from the views of the urban-rural planning as a whole, the interaction between Urban-Rural Planning and Land Use Planning and Public participation. Finally, it presented that: the land use planning should strengthen the idea of urban-rural planning as a whole, The system of national plan should be established as soon as possible, and identify the mission and the interaction of the plan according to the law, and conform and fulfill the governments’ right and obligation.
