Effect of Sodium Periodate on Adsorption and Regeneration of Heteropolyacid Complex Desulfuration System

Effects of sodium periodate on the regeneration of sodium phosphmolybdate and its complex desulfuration system (Na 3PMo 12 O 40 -NaVO 3-Na 2CO 3-NaCl) were investigated by electrode potential track.Adding sodium periodate increases adsorption and regeneration ability of the system.Sodium periodate acts as a catalyst which oxidizes sodium phosphomolybdate and absorbs hydrogen sulphide.
