Advances in Coated Cemented Carbide Tools

There is a higher and higher demand for cemented carbides cutting tools with the developing in high precision,high speed cutting,dry cutting technique and cost cutting of modern industry.Coated cemented carbides can get high hardness and better wear resistance after using coating technique and prolong cutting tool's life.In this paper,advances in coating methods,coating species and coating matrix at home and abroad are summarized.
