Modeling and Simulation of the Power Amplifier for the RHIC 28 MHz Accelerating Cavity

A detailed model for 4cw150000 Tetrode is developed.This model is implemented with PSPICE and verified by design curves from the manufacturer.A power amplifier using this Tetrode is designed and simulation results agree with the design expectations.A simulation model of the RHIC 28 MHz PA system is developed and simulation results are presented.Possible improvement of the PA is explored.
