Objective To study the preliminary results of clinical application of the suture method of limited incision peri-tendon.Methods 27 patients with the fresh and closed tendon rupture were treated by the suture method of limited incision peri-tendon to repair the achillis tendon.Amer-Lindholm of assessing curative effect criterion was used to evaluate the function.Results The average time of follow-up was 32 months,there was no infection and the rerupture of the achillis tendon,the control area of the sural nerves has the normal skin sensation.There were 23(85.2%) cases graded excellent and 4(14.8%) cases good.Conclusion The suture method of limited incision peri-tendon treating the fresh and closed tendon rupture,which can protect effectively the blood circulation of the broken ends,and it has less trauma and less chance of infection and rerupture,and its function recovered well,so it is another choice for treating the fresh and closed tendon rupture.
