Clinical analysis of 46 cases of children functional constipation treated by probiotics

Objective To observe the clinical effect of Probiotics on children functional constipation.Methods By random method,46 children with functional constipation were divided into 2 groups: observation group and control group.The patients were treated with general therapy,but the Probiotics(Siliankang Capsule) were given only to observation group.The defecation interval,defecate characters,defecation effort condition and associated symptoms of constipation were observed and compared.Results After a course of treatment,the defecation interval of patients were shorter than that before treatment.The total efficient of observation group was 76.9%,but which of control group was 45.0 %.The clinical effect of Probiotics had significant clinical effect(P0.01).Conclusion The Probiotics(Siliankang Capsule) have exact curative effect on children functional constipation with the character of safe,reliabilit and no obvious side effects.
