Chemical constituents of Polyalthia suberosa Thw.

Chemical studies of stem bark of Polyalthia suberosa (Annonaceae), led to the isolation of two compounds which were characterized as 4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-butane-2-ol (1) and 4-(4-methoxyphenyl)-butane-2-0-β-D-giucopyranoside (2) on the basis of spectroscopic studies.
