Hepatic Superscan on 18F-FDG PET/CT in a Patient With Secondary Leukemia

Secondary leukemia can develop as a recognized side effect of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In our case, an asymptomatic 61-year-old man was diagnosed with mixed-type Hodgkin lymphoma and underwent treatment with brentixumab-vedotin in 2021. Lately, the 18 F-FDG PET/CT scan we performed due to symptoms, revealed hepatomegaly and a diffusely increased FDG uptake in the liver. Following bone marrow biopsy revealed AML and the scan was consistent with hepatic superscan.
