Dynamic regulation of thermoelectric transport properties in GeTe via phase transition of VO 2

Here, VO 2 with insulator-to-metal transition, is employed to enhance the thermoelectric performance of Ge 0.92 Sb 0.08 Te compounds. The optimized sample achieved a remarkable ZT value of ≈2.0 at 603 K and an average ZT avg ≈ 1.2 between 303 and 723 K.
