29.4: LCoS Microdisplay Manufacturing Issues Wafers and Glass

Abstract To Date there are still several issues related to Microdisplay manufacturing which need attention. The basic recipe for making a Microdisplay is a patterned wafer, a sheet of glass, quality materials, and a repeatable process. The following article addresses some of the key factors found to be essential to hit yields on product to make LCoS a viable player in the Microdisplay industry.
