Application of Automatic Image Analyser in Metallography Testing

The average grain size, metallographical constituent and nonmetallic inclusions were analyzed with standard diagrams, manual measuring method in quantitative metallography and automatic image analysis. The testing results and error has been discussed. The results shown that the automatic image analysis has become the important methods in metallography testing.
