OptimalHydroBidding DecisionAnalysis in Day-ahead Market

This paper studies the large hydro power plant optimal bidding strategy in power market in both approximately full competition and monopolizing market situations,which is the dynamic programming problem with coefficient.Based on the bidding coefficient,this model finds out the optimal bidding curve to meet optimum objective and all kinds of constraints.This paper also points out the relationship between bidding coefficient and optimum objective.Numerical examples are also presented.
