The discussion about Separated list of Flos Lonicerae and Flos Lonicerae Confusae in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2005

Through checking in kinds of literature and field working,I think that it is unpractical to list Flos Lonicerae and Flos Lonicerae Confusae in Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2005 separately,because such list falls short of medical using demands in Flos Lonicerae currently and in future.So a suggestion should beproposed that the botanical origin of Flos Lonicerae should be emended to be Plos Lonicerae Japonicas and L.macrathoides Hand.-Mazz in supplement edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia 2005 and next editions of Pharmacopoeia.
