Relevant Enzymes,Genes and Metabolic Regulation in Biosynthesis Pathway of Stilbenes

Stilbenes,a kind of secondary metabolites,which function as antimicrobial phytoalexins in plant,have been paid increasingly extensively attention for its activitivies of antibaceteria,antioxidative and antineoplastic and so on.In this review,the progresses of study on relevant enzymes,genes and metabolic regulation in biosynthesis pathway of stilbenes are described,in order to provide references for its advanced research.Here we introduce a holistic and systematic method of researching in relevant enzymes,genes in biosynthesis pathway of Stilbenes-Systems biology.The application of knowledge of relative enzymes,genes in stilbenes' biosynthesis in metabolic engineering which is used as a tool of improving the disease resistance of plants and health caring quality of crops is also discussed.
