STUDIES ON THE CONSTITUENTS OF SERIPHIDIUM TERRAE-ALBAE (KRASCH) POLICK

Nine compounds were isolated from the ethanol extract of Seriphidium terrae-albae (Krasch) Poljak and identified as α-santonin,taraxerol,taraxasteryl acetate,ursolic acid,β-sitosterol,daucosterol,pentacosanoic acid 2′,3′-dihydroxypropyl ester,steraric acid and tetracosanoid acid.Their structures were determined on the basis of chemical evidence and spectral data.These compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time.
