Objective The purpose of the study was to evaluate the efficiency of the self-drilling micro-implant in Orthodontic case which extract teeth different in maxillary and mandible. Methods 30 patients with Class II skeletal pattern need to be treated with extracting teeth different in maxillary and mandible, from 13 to 20,were derived into two groups randomly:research group and control group.Patients in control group were treated with traditionally, and those in research group were treated with Micro-implant.Clinical efficiency was compared between two groups via teeth model and the Cephalometric films before and after treatment. Results The malocclusion patient's teeth of 30 case were relieved and aligned. But the distance of anterior teeth move backwards in experimental group is more than the control group, and the distance of the anchorage teeth move forward in experimental group is less than the latter(P0.001).Conclusion These patients who use micro-implant have gained better effects compared with those who don't,the effects include not only the backward movement of anterior teeth and the improvement of patient's profile, but also preventing anchorage from beyond control. The clinical applications were promising.
