The response of evergreen tree Cinnamomum camphora to Pb stress was studied. The experimental results showed that the physiological and biochemical indexes(chlorophyll content, cytoplasmic membrane permeability,MDA content and Pb content) of the leaves of C.camphora all had significant changes under high concentration of Pb stress.Spraying 10 mg/L LaCl3 solution could reduce the damage of Pb stress to the leaves of C.camphora, because LaCl3 could enhance the chlorophyll content in the leaves of C.camphora, and reduce their cytoplasmic membrane permeability and MDA content.
