An Integration of CAD/CAPP Using Solid Works

A method of integrating CAD/CAPP has been proposed in this paper,in which the software SolidWorks has been used to get the three-dimensional feature sculpting of a part,the overall information,geometry information and process information has been captured by use of the program written in VB and all information was saved in database to fulfill the integration of computer aided design(CAD) and computer aided process plan(CAPP).
