Studies on a novel insecticide, fluxametamide

We have been conducting research aimed at developing a safe and environment-friendly insecticide, which preferably possesses a new mode of action from the resistant pests control point of view. We successfully developed a first-in-class insecticide named fluxametamide that is an allosteric modulator of the GABA-gated chloride ion-channel. The compound possesses a novel isoxazoline skeleton, and its mode of action differs from conventional compounds.
