Objective To summarize the management of 84 cases congenital atresia and compare the technique of end-to-back anastomosis(EBA)and reforming tapering anastomosis(RTA).Methods Seventy-one cases of jejuno-ileal atresia were divided into EBA group and RTA group. The gestation age, body weight, admission age,post-operation day for start feeding, length in hospital stay and main complications were compared. Results There were no difference in the gestation age, body weight, admission age,but start feeding time in post-operation and duration time in hospital stay in RTA group were short than in EBA group(P 0.05);start feeding time in jejunal atresia group was late than that in ileal atresia group aften jejunal atresia operation. However, comparation of EBA group and RTA group, whether jejunal atresia or ileal atresia,in the complication morbidity of anastomotic leakage and obstruction were no obviously difference(P 0.05).Conclusion Reforming tapering anastomosis is a ideal operation for congenial intestinal atresia.
