Comparation of Methods for Machining Sprocket Chainpit

This paper introduced two methods of machining sprockets used in coal mine scraper conveyors,forming method and expanding method.The author made comparisions concerning machining principle,material of the cutters,decomposition of cutting force,machining efficiency and cost,etc..It is thus concluded that advanced technical process is a strong support for increasing efficiency and quality.
