Comparative study on the Hypolipidemic effect of piperine and methyl piperate from Piper longum's extract

Objective To study the hypolipidemic effect of piperine and methyl piperate from Piper longum's extract.Methods Piperine was extracted in Piper longum and methylpiperic acid was obtained by alkaline hydrolysis.Results The piperine crystal and methylpiperic were obtained.Conclusion The hypolipidemic effect of methylpiperic piperate is better.
