摘要
Upcoming generation of communication (6G) provides data transmission at high speed with lower latencies. In this paper a dual band microstrip patch antenna has been designed applicable for ISM-I (Industrial Scientific and Medical) band and future communication 6G. An E-shaped patch structure with partial ground has been developed using FR4 substrate (εr = 4.4). Antenna is operating from 2.3 GHz to 2.5 GHz with center frequency of 2.4 GHz. The first band provides a bandwidth of 200 MHz and another band is operating from 7 GHz to 20 GHz with bandwidth of 13 GHz. At first band overall gain of 4 dBi is observed while at second operating band overall gain lies between 5 to 6 dBi. Radiation efficiency (η) at first band of 94% and at another band it lies between 68 to 90% with average efficiency of 74%. All simulation process has been performed on HFSS 2024 student version.
