摘要
Abstract Capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducers (CMUT) have broad applications in the field of biomedical detection; however, they have yet to be applied to the quantitative analysis of serum albumin. This study presents a novel method for determining serum albumin concentration in serum samples by measuring the acoustic impedance of the solution using a CMUT sensor. In the experiments, bovine serum albumin (BSA) was used to simulate the behavior of human serum albumin (HSA). Leveraging the high sensitivity of CMUT, the propagation characteristics of ultrasound waves in protein solutions with varying concentrations were investigated. Experimental results demonstrate that the concentration of BSA significantly affects acoustic impedance parameters. A standard curve relating concentration to acoustic impedance was established through multiple measurements, showing minimal deviation from actual values. This method offers an efficient and innovative approach to protein detection in biomedical applications, providing a robust basis for health monitoring.
