Successful Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis Complicated with Myasthenia Gravis by Telitacicept: A Case Report

Abstract So far cases of rheumatoid arthritis complicated with myasthenia gravis are rare in reports, and specific treatment measures remain unclear. Therefore, this paper presents a case of a 57 - year - old female patient with a history of myasthenia gravis who currently has rheumatoid arthritis. After conventional treatment failed, the patient started subcutaneous injection of telitacicept, which led to rapid and sustained clinical improvement. This is the first report on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis complicated with myasthenia gravis by telitacicept. Meanwhile, the application of telitacicept in the treatment of this disease deserves further research and attention.
