Benzimidazolium-based chemosensors: selective recognition of H 2 PO 4 − , HP 2 O 7 3− , F − and ATP through fluorescence and gelation studies

Benzimidazolium-based receptors 1 and 2 exhibit sensing properties towards different anions such as H 2 PO 4 − , HP 2 O 7 3− and F − under identical condition. Experimental results are correlated with the theoretical findings.
