Research development of extraction technology of berberine in Coptis chinensis Franchb.

Berberine is one of the quaternary ammonium alkaloids extracted from fresh roots of Coptis chinensis Franch,and it is applied widely in clinic with significant curative effect for some disease.This paper summarizes the studies on the extracting technology and the technique principle of berberine from Coptis chinensis Franch,and compares the advantages and disadvantages of different extraction.
