Writing a Clinical Research Question

Abstract The bar for clinical research in surgical subspecialties has been rising over the past 10 yr. It is now essential that neurosurgeons are familiar with the principles of evidence-based medicine to evaluate and conduct sound clinical research. In this review, we highlight the importance of formulating a good research question, which serves as the foundation for meaningful investigation.
