Hemostatic evaluation and mechanism of novel rapid hemostatic biomaterials

Uncontrolled hemorrhage is the leading cause of preventable accidents and combat-related deaths.Therefore,stopping the bleeding as early as possible is the best strategy to reduce the mortality.With respect to the limitation of the common hemostatic product,this article summarizes the progress on the hemostatic materials,hemostatic effect and mechanism of hemostasis.Finally,the development of hemostatic product in the future will tend to be functional hemostatic materials with acceleration of wounded healing.
