To Build Virtual Constellation Using Commercial Satellites

The paper is putting forward the concept ofVirtual Constellation,analyzing the feasibility of building Virtual Constellation based on three aspects:the resource advantages of commercial satellites,the parameters differences of satellites and the characteristic differences of sensors.Based on the test of LANDSAT-7 and SPOT5,the operability of building the virtual constellation is verified.
