Study on Chitosan Clarification Technology of Flos Lonicerae

The clarification technology of flos lonicerae juice was studied. The best clarification condition was determined by orthogonal experiment based on the result of the optimal clarification conditions. The activity of chitosan/alginate in clarifying were studied initially. The result showed that with the addition of alginate, the active constituent in flos lonicerae juice was increased and the flos lonicerae juice could also be clarified.
