Imaging of Psoriatic Arthritis

Approximately 20% of patients with psoriasis develop a characteristic form of arthritis known as psoriatic arthritis, which has varied and extensive clinical and imaging features. Psoriatic arthritis may begin slowly with mild symptoms or develop rapidly. Left untreated, psoriatic arthritis can be progressively disabling and may result in a marked decrease in the patient's ability to perform the usual activities of daily life.
