Of late public interest has been a hot spot within the legal circle.Despite its long history and its recurrent presence in legal text,public interest is difficult to define.In face of the divergent definitions of public interest,it is a must to extract the basic elements and reveal their relationships between public interest,governmental interest and personal interest in order to grasp the gist of public interest.
