Hatha Yoga, also known as "Discipline of Force" in Sanskrit, is a branch of yoga that emphasizes physical control as a means of achieving spiritual perfection in which the mind is shut off from the world. Hatha yoga was once an austere discipline that has been practiced for a very long time.
