Preheated contrast media: the advantage of intravenous injection.

A study was performed to evaluate the effectiveness of intravenous injections with preheated contrast as opposed to room temperature contrast. Methods of preheating contrast are described as well as the accompanying complications and treatments of side effects. This article explains why preheated contrast media is a recommended procedure.
