Experimental Study on Cheap Biomimetic Collision Detection for Flexible Structures

In order to avoid the massive sensor array on collision detection for intelligent flexible structures, a cheap biomimetic collision detection method is proposed here in this paper, which is inspired from spiders. The results show that, The variation mode of attitude angles during the collision section was significantly differed from that during the stable and collision stages, and is recommend for adopting in collision detection in similar scenarios.
