Fabrication method for encapsulation of low-index, narrowband guided-mode resonance filters

Resonant narrowband out-coupler designs for laser systems leave a portion of the device exposed to damage and contamination. We present a fabrication method for full device encapsulation, resulting in a highly reflective, protected spectral filter.
