Sustainable Development and the Reconstruction of the Legislative System in China

The social status shows that China should follow the road to a sustainable development. Nevertheless, a large gap between the present law which as an important means helps to realize the sustainable development and the requirement that the sustainable development needs is still existing. Therefore, the author believes that it is necessary to take sustainable theory as a guide to reconstructing the legislative system of China and make it fit in with the requirement that the sustainable development needs.
