TESTING OF OPEN POROSITY AND COLSED POROSITY OF CARBON MATERIAL BY EFFECTIVE DENSITY METHOD

A new method named the effective density that determinates the open porosity and closed porosity of carbon materials was introduced,which can make up for the disadvantage existed in the traditional testing methods.Meanwhile,the concept that the closed porosity of the carbon materials is dependent on its own densities of the carbon material,including the bulk density,the effective density and the real density is given.
