The requirements of polypropylene compound for hot and cold water installation polypropylene piping systems were analyzed based on the standards of ISO, GB and the test items of polypropylene piping compound imported. The definitions of different type polypropylene were given, and the distinguishing method of PP-R and PP-B was given also.
