摘要
This technical note develops a mathematical model to calculate the electrical resistivity of soil–rock mixtures based on macroscope structure of the soil and broken rocks, and further considers that the filling of pores between coarse grains by fine grains may result in a decrease in porosity and an increase in saturation degree. Thus, based on a standard model for the electrical resistivity of unsaturated soil, this study proposes a modified model for the electrical resistivity of unsaturated soil–rock mixtures and validated the accuracy of the model using experimental results. Then a simple and easy method for calculating the electrical resistivity of soil–rock mixtures is provided.
