摘要
The forest, a valuable source for the development of sustainable photosensitizers, essentially improves the technological potential of photo-ATRP and free radical polymerization. In their Research Article (e202402915), Shujun Li, Zhijun Chen, Bernd Strehmel et al. demonstrate the performance of a new material, produced by confinement of cellulose-based carbon dots, that operates as a long afterglow emitter in the second timeframe and as photocatalyst in radical photopolymerization. Their use in a photo-ATRP cocktail results in block copolymers.
