Aortic and Cardiac IgG4-Related Tumor: Case Report With Radiologic and Histopathologic Features

A 70-year-old man with multiple cardiovascular risk factors was noted to have an aortic and cardiac mass on preoperative CT scan (Fig. 1). The mass was ill defined along the lesser curve of the aorta and aortic arch and encased the left main coronary artery. Because of the appearance of the mass on CT, IgG4-RD was suspected. However, serum levels of IgG4 and total IgG levels were normal. Following a conventional coronary angiogram that showed severe 3-vessel disease, the patient underwent triple coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG).
