摘要
Crack lengths from explosives in multiple hole blasting have been studied by cutting blocks and spraying them with penetrants. The research includes test blasting of totally some 150 holes. Different explosives, hole patterns, decoupling, initiation time and stemming were some of the examined parameters. It was found that decoupling and simultaneous initiation were the factors that reduced crack lengths most.
